Safety programs is a quarter of the exam on its own. Last checked against the BCSP ASP11 blueprint (version 2024.04.24) on 25 October 2026. Check bcsp.org for any newer version before you apply.
BCSP no longer provides a formula reference sheet. Formulas are built into the questions where they are needed, but you still need to know the formulas for the blueprint areas (BCSP). The real skill is choosing the right formula and rearranging it. US units unless stated.
2,000 original questions in all: 1,000 in the five mock exams and 1,000 here in the practice bank, written by The Near Miss Show team, checked against primary sources (OSHA, NIOSH, EPA, NFPA), covering every blueprint item with extra calculation practice, and tagged by blueprint domain, blueprint item and study block. They are not BCSP exam questions and are not taken from any exam. Answer options are shuffled each time.
The real exam gives you an on-screen TI-30XS-style calculator and no handheld, so practice with our . Five timed mocks of 200 original questions each, weighted by the ASP11 blueprint like the real exam, with no question repeated between mocks. Choose the full mock (5 hours) or a half mock (100 questions, 2.5 hours). All five mocks are free and need a free account, so each one is scored on our side and your score history is saved on every device. Original questions by The Near Miss Show team, not BCSP exam questions.
The Catch
Score 70% or more on each of Mocks 2, 3, 4 and 5 and you become an ASP Prep Champion, with a certificate you can verify, print and share.

You'll need your own copy of Yates, Safety Professional's Reference and Study Guide, 4th edition (CRC Press). We point you to the pages; we never copy the book.
